Sacramento Realtors See The Need For Social Media
Recently, our team had the pleasure of interviewing hundreds of real estate professional in regard to social media. We networked and interviewed agents, brokers, vendors and a locally. Our goal was to get feedback from the professionals in the field that made their living generating their own leads, promoted their own brands, and were callous to advertising their products and services online as well as offline.
There were a few key common denominators:
1. Less than half knew where to start with social media.
2. Over eighty percent knew that they needed to adopt a social media strategy.
3. Ninety-five percent plus wanted to learn more and get started immediately.
4. About twenty-five percent attempted a Facebook account with little to no activity.
After speaking to the Placer County Association of Realtors, we had learned from Gary Kramer, sales representative for Real Biz 360 and tech for PCAR, that an average ninety-five percent of all home buying transactions had resulted from online activity.
Social media is a necessity if one is to pursue a career in the real estate game. Whether you are a broker, agent, or vendor it is crucial to adopt a strategy in the world of online branding and marketing as the competition is thick and one must do everything possible to gain such market share. Early adopters will have the upper hand.
